“Cathedral Window”
A Hand & Machine Sewing Project for All Levels

Instructor: Bev Crouse
Date: Saturday, June 9,2018
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Description:
This age old traditional quilting technique is as easy as it is attractive. This class will focus on using your machine to stitch the Cathedral Window blocks individually and then together in rows. Adding the windows is then completed by hand. When it is done, it is done!. No batting, no binding, no quilting. How easy is that!

Goal:

In this class, you will learn:

1. The basic Cathedral Window Technique

2. How to stitch the blocks by machine (rather than by hand)

3. How to stitch the rows of blocks together by machine (rather than by hand)

4. The finer points of adding the windows

Level: This workshop is suitable for all levels.

Instructor Fee: $20.00

Please bring the following kit:
16 - 10 inch squares for background
24 - 3 inch squares for windows. Can be all the same or a variety of fabrics
